These events will form the nucleus of a wide-ranging diary of events for the new Cultural Companions programme in Roscommon, which will create local networks of people aged 50+ who accompany each other to arts and cultural events.

It is an initiative of Roscommon Arts Office, Roscommon Arts Centre, Roscommon Volunteer Centre, Roscommon Age Friendly Programme and Age & Opportunity. Funded by  Creative Ireland to run a series of day-time events targeted at older people during June to October this year.
