A reading and Q&A session of a play by Rory Nevin. This is a work in progress that explores a future dystopian Ireland where dairy cows are charge.

A one-person show where the story is from the perspective of one of the scientists who was responsible for the “Super cows” known as “The Mook”. The creatures were developed using genetic engineering and two types of AI – Artificial Insemination and Artificial Intelligence.

Things got out of hand and somehow they now rule the country and perhaps the planet. They hunt the scientist who has gone into hiding.

The play explores the dairy industry, methods and processes of dairy farming, treatment of animals (and cruelty) in terms of making profits, Irish mythology and language and cows.

The reading will be performed by an actor. The writer and actor will take any questions on its conclusion.
