‘From the Danube to the Dodder’: Dialogues for Cello, Accordion & Violin featuring Adrian Mantu (cello), Dermot Dunne (accordion) & Sebastian Tegzesiu (violin)

A vibrant and emotional musical journey that brings together the passion of tango, the elegance of classical music, and the freedom of contemporary expression.

Cellist Adrian Mantu, accordionist Dermot Dunne, and violinist Sebastian Tegzesiu join forces in It Takes Three to Tango — a dynamic trio that transcends genres and borders. Their program celebrates the dialogue between tradition and innovation through works by George Enescu, Constantin Dimitrescu, Ciprian Porumbescu, Niccolò Paganini, Astor Piazzolla, Turlough O’Carolan, Ina Boyle, Saint-Saëns, and Ennio Morricone.

Each piece reveals a different facet of musical storytelling — from the fiery rhythms of tango to the lyrical intimacy of chamber music — offering audiences an evening filled with virtuosity, emotion, and unexpected connections.
