Dr Cathy Fitzgerald is an ecological artist, creative entrepreneurial educator, and researcher with a long interest in the potential of ecoliterate creative people in catalysing community and conversations for a more equitable, sustainable, and peaceful world. Cathy is centered on the potential of the creative sectors in promoting a significant cultural shift, to inspire communities to think and act for a better world. Taking place in February and March 2024. Looking at three general areas which might inspire, spark, and compound ideas and approaches to artmaking. Placemaking, Environment, and Hospitality. The series kicks off with three guest speakers in February and follows on into March with readings, walks, exchanges, and tastings by artists in the region who share visual arts ideas & their thoughts in the evolving landscape of visual and artistic work.
